lives in Pearland, Texas, born in Monterrey, Mexico and grew up in Wasco, California and in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon.
I have been fishing my whole life or at least ever since I can remember. I started fishing for catfish with my dad in the rivers near my hometown in Mexico(el rio San Juan and el Salto, saludos Gollo) and in la presa Benito Juarez. He taught me to fish with a coke can and line wrapped around the can and three hooks and a weight at the end of the line. We used cans and trot lines at the presa.
I started fishing saltwater when I moved to Kingsville, TX fishing in Baffin Bay, Bob Hall pier and surrounding fisheries. I have been hooked in saltwater fishing ever since. Favorite species is speckled trout, nothing like fresh trout.
I bought my first used Kayak in 2008 and if I thought I was hooked on fishing this made me an addict as I could get to places that I could never get to before. Now I try to go every chance I get.
